Last night we have conducted our second meetup with SF Mobile Entrepreneurs community. It was truly great – a cozy atmosphere, tasty pizza, good networking, and lots of insights from our speakers.
Rebecca O’Dell, founder of fashion startup StylSavvy, shared her story and emphasized: “I started learning app marketing when product was already in the AppStore with no marketing budget. The right way is to plan much earlier. It was really hard to sign a deal with the first retailer, but once I got two brands, I could smoothly to get others on board.”
Andrew Garkavyi from Stanfy, a mobile design and dev company, talked about difference in mobile development for different platforms and summarized: “Nowadays there is almost no difference in time/efforts needed for development of the native iOS and Android apps. Segmentation of the Android can be solved by focusing only on most popular devices plus fast reaction to user’s feedback from non-top phones.” You can watch Andrew’s presentation below.
See you at our next event!
